"Senior" Trip A Success
By Lee W. McClelland on 1/22/2003
Just returned from the Las Vegas "Senior" trip. Had a good time but Las Vegas is not for the weak of foot or wallet. I think I broke even on the slots but lost out on tips. About 20 classmates and spouses and former spouses met at the Excaliber Casino and Hotel (4100 rooms-all sold out) on Friday and Saturday then went our separate ways, some to a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon, others to "The Thunder from Down Under" (you girls may know what that is) to just trying to see everything in Las Vegas in two days.

Dave and Nancy Hubbert did not make it due to flight problems so their always humorous input was lacking and Dave's electronic know how in beating the slots was sourly missed.

Chuck Weaston and Sue Morris never arrived or failed to make contact while there. If there, I certainly hope we did not miss them.

See you at the next reunion in about two years - God willing!
