Hello everyone,
I was halfway through this when I managed to lose all of what was written so far. Another way to drive myself nuts!! I was truly looking forward to seeing those of you who could come to Las Vegas. My mom had a heart attack and has since been tempting fate with one thing or another. My sister lives right there so since my mom stabilized quickly we figured I'd come down when she was released. The idea of shooting my wad on a trip to Vegas and leaving right away to go to Fla. was too much of a possibility. I envy those of you who could attend. Thanks to Melissa and Larry and anyone else that helped to organize the trip.
{ I have to interject here that 1) not being much of a typist, 2) being somewhat dyslexic, and 3) not having a spell checker here is a little nerve wracking to say the least}
I'd love to hear more about the trip, to hear who was able to attend, to see any pictures that you could post here ( Dave I don't know if that is asking too much? Maybe a page devoted to the trip). On that subject I'd enjoy seeing more pictures of all of you , your kids, etc.
When the topic of a class trip came up i was thinking more along the lines of local and low budget. I'm glad that you made the suggestion for something to follow Larry. What if we were able to rent a state lodge in Hocking Hills or some other location in Ohio. Any place with rooms to accommodate the demand we would have. A long weekend with few distractions would allow us to spend more time together. Just a thought.
It seems that most of the calls I've been getting from Rick Geyer have been related to losing a classmate. I've always told him I wanted to know any news but I know he was a little frustrated in making those calls at the same time. [ if he wasn't sooo cheap maybe he'd call some other time with good news - I dun ]. So I was thinking I'd volunteer to organize an email list that we could all have access to for general notices, etc. I realize it should be voluntary. What does anyone think?
