Death of another classmate. |

Gary Buchanan died May 9th, 2005 at his home in Westerville, Ohio. Survived by three sons, three grandchildren, three brothers, and former wife Judy.
Gary was ill from Lupus, which I believe was caused by exposure while serving his country in Viet Nam. He was also suffering from PTSD as a result of the war. The last I saw him in Sept 2004 he appeared much older then his age. He could barely walk or move around. It is hard to forgive this country for what it did to our troops in Nam and denying it at the same time. I work with several Viet Nam Vet whose health problems and mental problems can not be explained by normal reasoning. They suffer tremendously.
I would ask all of you to say a prayer for his family and if you can find it in your heart to forgive him for his past. Thank you from my heart. |
