Recently two members lost family members or spouses. John Reed lost his Mother and Barb Shaffer Risner lost her husband. I knew John's mom because she was a supervisor at North Electric and trained me in the short time I once worked there. Believe me, she earned her money on that. I knew Mike Risner because I worked with him at Marion Correctional Institution 89 - 92 when I transferred to Grafton. Mike was a good guy and will be missed those working in the prison system. My condelences to both members of MGHS 65.
We must be more vigilant of who has lost family etc. as I am sure they would appreciate some small acknowledgement and kind words.
