A little story |

Last Friday my wife came home from work and I asked her how her day went. She told me fine and proceeded to tell me about one of her co-workers who was considering having a face lift. This brought to mind a story I had heard a few years back about a lady from Palm Beach, Florida who was nearing middle age and was more than a little unhappy about her looks. This lady who shall go unnamed had heard and read about the miracle work of a Palm Beach Plastic Surgeon who also shall go unnamed. The lady calls the Doctor and schedules an appointment. The day arrives for the appointment and the good Doctor examines the lady. The Doctor tells her she would be a good candidate for a procedure he calls 'The Knob Job'. A procedure where he sutures a knob or dial in the crown of the head and whenever her face needed a little tightening, she would give the one-way knob a turn. It was explained to the lady that she could easily conceal the knob by styling her hair a certain way. The lady decides to have the procedure done. Ten years pass and this lady starts to notice bags under her eyes and no matter how many times she turns the knob the bags persist. She calls the Doctor complaining about her looks and he schedules an appointment for her to check her out. The day arrives and she is examined by the Doctor, what's the problem he asks? And she replies, its these bags under my eyes Doctor, no matter how much I turn the knob, the bags won't go away. The Doctor says in astonishment, those are not bags, they are your breast. OHHH!!! the lady shouts as she slaps the palm of her hand to her forehead, that explains the goatee.
