Letter From Mary Ward |

Many of us had Mary Ward as our first grade teacher, and I thought you might like to hear how she’s doing. I recently received a letter from her and am pleased to report she is doing well. She is living with her daughter Anna Mary in Florida. She taught for 36 ˝ years, the last 18 at the Primary Center in Mt. Gilead where she says she had “many wonderful children”. She retired in 1968.
She says, “I have a great life here in Florida and get out every day”. She will celebrate her 97th birthday on February 9, 2001.
