The memorial, is located next to the court house in Mt. Gilead, and is dedicated to past and present residents of the county who served in all branches of the military.  Bricks bearing inscriptions honoring those who served may be purchased for $50 or $100 dollars.

The MGHS classes of '64 and '65 are combining to donate a bench similar to the one pictured below.  The bench inscription will honor class members who served and list the names of those who gave their lives in service to their country.  The total cost  will be $800 ($400 per class).  Please include your suggestions for the wording of the inscription with your donation.  If you are aware of classmates other than Gary Lyons, George Bunker and Dennis Hartpence who gave their lives, please provide that information as well.
